Tasting Room

In July of 2024, C R Sandidge Wines moved our tasting room location in the village of Manson to our winemaking facility located on the Desert Canyon Golf resort just north of Orondo, Washington.  This puts us about 20 minutes southeast of Chelan.  We have been making our wines at this facility since 2017.  That is correct.  All of the winemaking magic has been taking place at this wonderful 11,000 square foot building.  While downtown Manson was quaint and a tad more convenient, the view was very industrial.  The view from our winery tasting room and the attached deck is nothing short of gorgeous. The site also offers peace and quiet in spades. As usual, our tasting room staff is knowledgeable, friendly and truly knows wine.  We can safely state this as you will be interacting with owners Athena and Ray Sandidge every visit.  Note, we are open by reservation only.  Our hours of operation change seasonally so please take note of our hours on our website and when stated in our monthly newsletters.

Ray Sandidge has been making wine internationally and in Washington State for 40+ years.  He came to the conclusion many years ago that great wine is a puzzle of many parts.  Passion, proper terrior, growing season, superb grape quality and a winemaking staff capable of bringing all the parts together successfully. Our winemaking and grape growing business is small, family owned and very passionate about all which involves the vineyard and the crafting of fine wines.  We pass along that zeal and knowledge during the presentation of our superb wines.  We invite you to enjoy the fruits of our labor.
